Was supposed to get out for a while mid day today. Have to take the steed in to have crank spacers put in and retightened OR could just ride with a wobbly crank for a little bit

Hmm I had a photo shoot Friday that got moved to the 30th. Looks like I'll do recovery tomorrow then. The legs feel much better compared to last night. It was tough to descend staircases...not so bad today. Started taking hammer tissue rejuvenator / first gen ultragen yesterday...hopefully it speeds up recovery.

edit: thanks for the tip re: not waiting so long

1 hour high zone 2 yesterday; 1.5 hours low zone 2 this AM.

I am already sick of the cold weather.

1.75hrs Z2 on the SS MTB w/ lights last night. Couldn't find my winter gloves or one of my knee warmers which sucked.
Tonight, 1.25hrs. on the CX bike around Salem Lake. Mostly upper Z2 w/ one 20' effort in the middle.

+1.

And that's from having spent 1.5 hours in the basement on the trainer. It's freezing down there. I can't imagine what it's like outside.

I'm so happy I've been able to get up at 4:45 every day and hit the trainer, because the lunch rides are becoming rarer. Just the trainer/Breaking Bad today. This was the Salemanca twin hospital assassination episode (S3E8). Good. Stuff.

I just finished all of the Breaking Bad episodes on Netflix last night. Unbelievable ending. Now I'm trying to find another worthwhile series until BB season 5 comes out.

This. Awesome stuff. Haven't been a whole lot episodes though so you'll probably get caught up fast.

Yeah, I'm all caught up on TWD, Dexter, and Homeland, and watch those off the bike. When I finish Breaking Bad, I think I'll go for The Wire, or maybe re-watch Galactica on the trainer.

No way I could watch Walking Dead on the trainer. When it first started, I had to record it and watch it during the day - with my wife. I still can't watch by myself but I can watch it at night when it runs.

**SPOILER**

The trip to the daycare last Sunday had me totally freaked. Eyes covered, head averted and everything.

Galactica would be a good trainer show. I tried to watch the Wire but wasn't able to get into it.

Lifted this AM. 3 sets of pullups (8), dips (12), deadlifts (225 lbs x 10). Guess you can tell I'm more concerned with back/hip/core/hamstrings than "beach muscles"

Deleting your Strava account would be a good start to 2013.

Last day of the first build block today:
-45' of trainer/breaking bad -- saw Skyler's awesome delivery of the gambling story. Walt and Marie leaning in to hear it was awesome (S3E9?)
-commute to work at high tempo -- felt great
-ZCI™s at 325W, no problem. Freaking amazing to feel the damned fitness finally coming up. I may actually be back to doing these at 350 sometime in the future (was below 300W 6 weeks ago).

-still to come: commute home, hoping the F1 traffic doesn't bleed too far into my area of Austin.
