My credit card has been jacked 5 times recently. This last time, I had the new card for like 2 months before someone charged over 1k at a BJ's...
I think the local laundromat is the issue, but I have no idea how to find out for sure :/
I'm so lucky that I was carrying another card and cash. I was in Houston for work over the weekend and it got declined when I paid the tab for dinner for my friend and his wife since I was crashing at their place.
Sigh.
So I'm hearing that you want to buy my 56cm CAAD9?

I'm upstate a short drive from a bike shop advertising a CAAD10 Black with Di2 for under 2k. Very tempting, but it's a 54 and I ride a 56 generally and the geometry of my guru is the following...
Virtual Size: 569mm
Measured Size: 520mm
Top tube c-c: 570mm
Head Tube: 160mm
Seat Angle: 73°
Head Angle: 72.5°
Yeah, I know, anyone want me to pick it up for them?

My wife is going to be out of town on Friday and Saturday and I'm already trying to work out the logistics for getting the kids from school, getting them to three soccer games, and arranging for sitting while I'm at my team's fall meeting and "awards banquet." I don't know how single parents do it.

THey have to learn to drive sometime. Give them the keys to your wife's car.
If anything happens to it you can simply tell her not to abandon her motherly duties...

I'm building a bike rack inside my Jeep. Too many things have nicked my bike laying it down. Had everything set up and cut out, but Home Depot didn't have to the right screws. Now I have to go to Lowes. I'm convinced had I gone to Lowe's, the reverse would be the case.

They went through Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and then had to take a flight from there to India because of visa issues. I'm not sure if they rode the Indian Himalayas but if they didn't, they missed a heck of a lot!

A friend of mine got hit by a car last year and it's been a long road back. He started playing drums as part of his therapy for his shoulders and he thought he would combine his two hobbies, so he mounted an electronic drum on his road bike, and got a pic of himself riding while playing with both hands.
He sent the pic to his grandson, who's first comment was "Where's your helmet?"

Colonoscopy done, easier then expected all around. Everything is clear. Worst part was hanging around the house trying to occupy myself while I was doing the prep.

First ride on the Hylix saddle today and it didn't break. It's scary light and being 190lbs I'm scared for it. But I liked it. If I still like it after a month or so, I'll put my money down for a real Toupe.

So many articles on Ebola I can't find the one that talks about the time line but it seems that the guy in TX was in a regular ward for a day or so in addition to waiting in the waiting room for a few hours, all while he was leaking infectious fluids. All contacts at the time were not "controlled" if you will, meaning the staff didn't take much extra precautions. Also all the fluid samples weren't handled any differently than normal, in terms of lab technicians etc.
A few dropped balls like this and it'll get kind of ugly pretty quickly.

As far as Africa goes… a good friend of mine came from Sierra Leone. He's upper class so he's got that going for him in terms of having walls and running water and whatnot (as he put it, "Who do you think sold the slaves to the Southerners? Europeans? No, it was other tribes that sold captured slaves to the white people", meaning his ancestors). It's an absolute mess over there and no one really cares about the country or the people. To have Ebola so widespread is a bit crazy. More Ebola infections in this outbreak than every other outbreak combined.
With a "leak rate" of I think about 3? people for every 20k infections (meaning after the initial infected persons in TX and Spain there were 2 more in TX, 1 more in Spain, with maybe 100-120 people being watched due to contact with those three or the two prime cases in each location), with the infrastructure in Africa breaking down such that it's not possible to count infected people in certain areas (they acknowledge that the numbers don't include areas that are "unsafe" for health inspectors), it seems the real number of infections is higher in Africa than currently reported.
Recently we went to the ER with Junior. It was pretty laid back. Anyone walking in there could be coughing, sweating, etc, forget about vomiting and pooping. Not a big deal. Chairs aren't disinfected, etc. I think things will need to change when dealing with potential exposed people.

Considering we are destroying the environment enough that scientists are labeling this period the Sixth Great Extinction, maybe the human race is due for a population adjustment.

What's your point? You just let it happen? For your sake I hope it's not you or a member of your family that gets infected. There needs to be better safety measures put in place and followed. I just read on the weekend that there are two possible cases in Ontario. That's close enough for me to be somewhat concerned.
