So are the days of our lives...

I'm always behind the times when it comes to television. We don't even own one. Now wife and I are binge watching The Office almost every night. This is why I don't like watching TV. I end up enjoying it and it's such a time sink.

I hate "The Office" and I hate sit-coms where the cast members speak to the camera as if being interviewed, ie.; "Modern Family".

"Did you see that ludicrous display last night?"
My husband is a Network Tech. We always joke about "Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?" I love that show!

When calling the help desk here, the message you hear after selecting the first call route is "Did you know that most computer problems can be solved by simply rebooting?".
Ummm, no.

A colleague said this was me. Minus the game and desktop stuff.

Boss is a good show - not a comedy though by any means.
It's like "House of Cards" but darker, and on a local level.

Started new job, was told to lock up bike in office parking garage. Well traveled garage with attendants and everything. First day of my 4th week (yesterday) went out to go home, bike was gone. Mother effer cut through the lock with a grinder, told the attendant he lost his key, and the attendant went back to the desk to call security. The guy escaped with 2 bikes. Argh.

Shoot, I feel for you. I do the exact same thing and I would be beyond angry if that happened here. Personally I would argue
A: For complete bike replacement from the company that is responsible for the garage.
B: Bring my bike inside from then on and simply tell people to deal with it.
I don't know what to tell you. If it doesn't get found though I would personally be willing to burn whatever bridges I needed to burn with whoever is responsible for the parking garage and or security.

If security saw someone doing that and claiming to have lost a key, then they should have asked for ID to have on file. If the person legitimately lost their key theyd have no problem producing ID. Sucks, so sorry

So I put up our old iphones on ebay, thinking I'd get a little more than going through gazelle or whatever. I was thrilled when my wife's phone sold for 184 (even with a crack on the screen). Turns out my excitement was premature, I guess it's a real thing that these bots or shell accounts are used to bid on phones and not pay when they win. My phone also just got one of these zero feedback accounts winning, so I need to relist it. Kinda frustrating. Fortunately, someone just bought my wife's for 140 and paid immediately.

the apple store allowed me to trade in my Iphone 4s last year and get a $200 credit, and mine was slightly water damaged. not sure if they still do something similar
