Outstanding Race so far...best in awhile.

If Tom Do My Lawn wins it would make a great movie...a team built around an arrogant star sprinter, thrust into the GC battle with a mild mannered no name. Domestiques forced to step up and take the role of a climber...Americans wouldn't watch it cus...spandex...

Of course much of this is wild speculation and some ignored facts....which is no different than anything else the press or hollywood writes.

I guess the question now is...are there any blood bags left in the fridge? (purely metaphorical, I wouldn't dare suggest...)

Both Keistoff and Matthews did well today. They'd be two of my top five for Worlds along with GvA and Degenkolb

I think it'll be a while before Dumoulin has to worry about paying for his beer after that ride. I'd damn sure buy him a few!

well the Worlds literally got started with a bang as riders from two teams (Optum ladies and Sky) hit a pothole near the finishline during today's practice run and crashed...

smh...

According to VeloNews, it was manhole covers deeply inset into fresh pavement. Effect would be pretty much the same, though.

And now they all head to the desert. Courses look to be as exciting as you can hope for given that they're in the flats with one mountain nearby.

That was impressive. He made those other pro's look like amateurs. Noticeable difference in skill.

Holy ****.

Poels pulled a Martin in the final 200m of today's Abu Dhabi stage.

At least it wasn't a Classic, but damn.

Finally saw the recap of this one. Insane performance by Bobridge. Also, only 15 or so finishers out of the 125 starters?? Must have been a brutal race.

Tour Down Under is streaming, thus ushering in the next season of reduced work productivity.
