As a student of history, JoeyBike, I would point out that most of what you are writing is simply repetition of ideas which have been around for at least the past 70 years, mostly verbatim. But I will inconvenience no more electrons on the topic, especially considering how weepy FBinNY seems to be getting about it.

Before giving you your thread back, however, I will suggest that you get your hands on some of the writings of John Gierach, who may be able to show you how to be bohemian without also being a hypocrite. And that is all I have to say about it - regardless of how tempting it might be to make fun of people who buy produce while blaming farmers for destroying the planet.

This thread sure has traveled all over the place hasn't it? I was getting nervous that the mods where going to lock it up. When I start a thread my hopes are that they will get 100 posts without wanton bumping by me. This one was a total surprise. It's almost impossible to get that may responses without straying from the original topic so I am ALWAYS cool with the little detours so long as they are genuine (as apposed to malicious attempts to get the thread locked).

As for my website...that thing was so vast you can't be referring to all of it. Shoot me a PM with the part(s) you miss. There were two blogs associated with it and a facebook page. Maybe it's one of the blogs you want access to? The bulk of the site was related to commuting in New Orleans and long distance bike touring in the USA and Canada as well as locally near NOLA. One blog was dedicated to my riding style in vast detail, the other was way off base regarding my lifestyle - sort of a road map to happiness "Joey style".

I never claimed to have made any new discoveries on the matter. I have done a fair bit of research in the area of cultural anthropology, mainly as a way to discover peace and happiness myself. It is of value for a human being to understand how human beings were "designed" to exist harmoniously on this planet. Sort of like discovering an instruction manual of sorts.

Will do. Thanks.
