i built one for fun as part of a build off on another forum, then a second just because i had a second idea i wanted to try (fat schwinn rear tire. yes i know it shouldn't be fast). one i never rode, the other i got up to a whopping... er...22mph

the idea is kind of fun though. i still have both for if i come across a good hill someday.

Here's a clip of my buddy haulin ass on my bike.
52.1 mph, one lane road, no helmet... not smart.

There's no video of me going faster than him, but I did set the high score on the same hill.

I haven't found the time or resources to build a bike. But I'm a wannabe. I did spend one weekend chasing some gravity bikers as they played on Route 1/88 on the Oklahoma/Arkansas border. They had a chase truck to carry them uphill. Some of the hills are miles long and they could go far faster than the car traffic. They camped at the Queen Wilhelmina State Park.

Here is "Fast Eddie" from Kansas City taking off.

Here's a link to his latest bike. "Fast Eddie" Villanueva

Here's a better link for gravity bikes.

I'm familiar with Fast Eddie and his bike (more form than function, but still extremely cool) and I've been a member of gravitybikes HQ for years... Brett's a cool dude and his bike is unbelievable!
