do bullhorns work on roadies too?
Just curious if it would work to put a set of bullhorn handlebars on my roadie. I have an 80's roadie with downtube shifters so i guess it could work. I've heard that this type of handlebars is only used on fixies though.

You might have to get a little creative as far as mounting the brake levers go, but just Google "bullhorn bars brake mounting" and you'll see a ton of different options. Not having to worry about brifters, as is your case, is going to open things up a lot.

You have to relocate the shifters off the downtube, or reach down there with every gear change.
