Convert QR-based bike rack to accept through axle?

I have a Rhode Gear Euro Shuttle rack on my car. Example picture (not mine) here:

It has a QR mount to hold the front fork. I recently got a 2014 Fuji Tahoe 1.1 MTB that has a Fox Float front suspension fork that takes a 15mm thru axle. is there any adapter I can use on the bike rack to convert the existing QR to be compatible with a thru axle?

I've seen some products from Thule and Yakima but they seem proprietary to their systems and unlikely to work with the standard QR mount on my rack. See, e.g., Thule 53015 Thru-Axle Adapter 15mm > Accessories > Auto Racks > Roof Rack Accessories | Jenson USA

Any thoughts? Am I wrong about the Thule, etc products?
