brake adjustment repair
I have just bought a bike at auction a connondale f600, it has shimino deore brakes I am not sure if they call them linear type or side pull, on the front brake on side seems stuck it also has what I would call a useless spring ie it has no spring in it.
How would one go about fixing this, is there a good reference book site etc
the back brakes are a bit to close to the rim alsthough they do not seem to be totally stuck however they also need adjustment also
any advice gratefully accepted
