Shimano SPD-SL road pedals use a different cleat from either Look pedals (original Delta cleat, or the newer KEO design). All three types use the "Look" 3-bolt pattern for bolting cleat to shoes, which can sometimes be a source of confusion. So Shimano SPD-SL pedals use a Look bolt-pattern, but the actual shape of the cleats is different.
