Garbage. For the same money, I bought a used Parks stand off Craigs List. Why bother with second rate stuff?

I'd love to buy a used stand but haven't seen one around here in the 2 1/2 years I've been scouring CL daily. Just saw this one yesterday and wanted to see if anyone had experience with it.

well for $50 it is worth a chance. it looks a bit light and 'tippy' to me.

I've also been looking at the Vuelta XRP at Bike Island for $108. The few reviews I can find on it make it seem to be a better stand than the Park PCS-9 for about the same price.
I've been hoping my indecision will last till a good Park stand turns up on CL for a decent price (or my dear wife suddenly realizes that $200 really is a reasonable price for a stand) but that plan doesn't seem to be panning out as I'd hoped.

There is a stand with a park clamp on it on CL in La Mirada, not tooooo far from you. Go to Search Tempest (the best friend of any serious CL'er!) and search "park repair stand"

I use one of those bike hoists.
I like it because I have clean access to both sides of the bike, easy to adjust the height of the bike if needed, it's portable if I move, and it cost $5 at a garage sale.
Enjoy

Price must have gone up on those, i got one from bikeisland (branded "BikeHand" instead of Vuelta but looks exactly the same) for about $75. It can get tippy (imagine holding a large frame bike by the seatpost and making the bike level so you can work on the handlebar area--that's enough to bring the center of gravity outside the triangle. A stand with a rectangular footprint would be more stable.) The quick release clamp doesn't open wide enough either, you end up having to flip the lever and then crank it down a couple turns or vice versa.
