Is Athena comparible with Xenon front changer?

I'm swapping all components from one frame to my new one. I can't fit my Xenon triple front changer 'cos it is a clamp on and the new frame requires a brazed on changer to fit ! I can't find a xenon for sale anywhere so I've been looking for alternatives. I need a (cheap) campag front changer that will be suitable for my triple rings - 52/42/30. Rear is a 9 speed xenon. The best I've seen is an Athena 11 speed triple changer for £30. I just wondered about any differences between Athena and xenon. The 11 speed Athena uses a thinner chain I believe, will this mean that the spread of the Athena rings would be narrower than the xenon? I'll be using xenon ergopower levers, any ideas about how it will all work?
TIA
Albert

Hi, thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that I'm in the UK, I would prefer to buy from a source over here. I know a xenon will turn up, but probably, eventually. I want to have bike up and running pretty shortly - my wife has started to write a list of jobs that have suddenly become extremely important for me to carry out..........

If the Athena does not work, you might be able to convert your Xenon to braze-on by switching the mounts between the two derailleurs. The Campagnolo website replacement parts pdf's might indicate whether the parts numbers are the same for the Xenon 9 and Athena 11 braze-on mounts.
