Wald basket - attach to quick release axle or not?
With the Wald baskets with support legs - Can those attach to a QR axle on a bike and clamp down? On the instructions it says it is possible, but then seems to contradict it a few sentences later.
Those seem preferable to the ones that simply rest on the head tube of the frame with that little bracket.
Thanks,

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

I think that it would be OK. The load is being supported by the QR skewer. That's bigger in diameter than the screw that attaches luggage racks to dropouts.

I would use some p-clips instead, attaching it to the quick release defeats the purpose of the quick release and makes it a pain to remove the wheel.

+1 P clips. First time you need to remove the wheel, you will be happy you did it.
