Dimension Cross with big rubber?
Hi folks,
I'm thinking of upgrading my Cross Check's front end to take a disc brake. Others have done it and say that the geometry is pretty well identical to the CC fork, but on JensonUSA's site they give a maximum of 38 mm tires.
My CC is kitted out with some pretty monstrous Schwalbe Supremes at 40 mm and SKS fenders--P50s I think--that have maybe a couple mm clearance on either side of the fork.
Is the Dimension fork smaller inside than the CC's after all, or are JensonUSA just being conservative? If so, is there a similar disc-tab-equipped fork that would work?
