Stripped brake pad fixing screw

I messed up one of my brake pad fixing screws it is stripped, what is the best way to back out this small fixing screw, it's the screw that keep the brake pad in the brake shoe. I'm assuming I can drill it out in reverse but want ot check to see if there is a better way. Thanks

If you have a small Torx bit (sorry I can't remember the size for most of those screw heads) it will grip enough to get it out in most cases.
