Ritchey comp seat post, metric or ???
I'm trying to remove a saddle on a 'Ritchey comp' seatpost. None of my metric allen wrenches seem to fit properly. This is the bolt that attaches the saddle to the post. The 6mm size is the best fit, but I'm afraid that the tool will slip and ruin the bolt. Any suggestions as to what size I might need to get this bolt off?

I can't remove the bolt. (perhaps it was installed too tightly??) All I managed to do was damage the corners on hex.
Suggestions for phase II?

What I meant was the actual bolt itself is damaged, not the tool. I'm going to bring the whole mess to the LBS where I purchased the assembled bike and see if they remove the bolt and put a new one in for me.

LBS had a look at the bolt and "spanked" me for being careless with the allen wrench. They were able to remove the bolt with a little moxy. Strangely, a replacement bolt with the correct thread could not be found, so I got a new clamp/bolt instead. Works fine. I picked up a "shop grade" set of allen wrenches so I don't muck things up again.
Finally, I can mount a new Brooks B-17

Hex keys come in all grades. I buy either Allen (it is a brand) or Bondhus. They are far superior in quality to others. My current short set are Allen and I paid $4.89 at my local Lowes home improvement store.
