BB30 and Shimano Crank

I am getting a new Cervelo S5 and it has a BB30 bottom. I know they make adapters is one brand better than another?

My bottom bracket bearings are FSA they have about 7,000 miles on them should I change them? If I change them what brand should I get?

The BB30 shell limits the number of cranks that can be used. To use a Shimano crank, I used this adapter, see https://fairwheelbikes.com/kcnc-bb30-...et-p-2926.html ;

I have about 2000 miles on the adapter and it has been perfect.

Yes it seems that it different than BB30. I found these adaptors my question is which one is better?

1) Enduro BBRight To GXP BB Adapter https://www.excelsports.com/main.asp?...ajor=1&minor=6

2) Wheels Adapter https://wheelsmfg.com/products/bottom...no-cranks.html

This seems better than most of the other ones... if the full sleeve is necessary.

those will work. i like the wheels to shimano adapter better than the rotor one, have had rub issues with the rotor one. looks like you have some adjustment with the wheels mfg one. not a big fan of the gxp adapter but i believe it is the only one available.

Will a GXP adaptor fit a shimano crank? Might want to double check that.

easiest to install is the wheels mfg one if you have the stock bb in place. to use the rotor one you need to knock out the old bb and press in the new one. i would have a 1mm spacer handy if using the rotor one

not real impressed with the press in type bbs in general. i would just get whatever is in stock, they will both die a quick death. water intrusion is the biggest killer
