removing hockey/bar tape
Just bought a 06 Kathmandu and some fool had covered it in superman grip or hockey tape, how would you suggest I get it off? Picture of the tape.

Still learning
I would think Hockey anything would be a bonus in CA!
Cut it off carefully with a blade so you don't score the handlebar, then use Goof Off or denatured alcohol to remove the adhesive.

Exactly! That's what I always do! I'm a fool who put hockey tape on his handle bar. It's a lot cheaper than leather tape, it remains sticky for a while (I like that) and when it's not sticky anymore I put another layer of hockey tape. Then when there too much tape I cut it carefully with a blade so I don't score the handle bar (that part is not true, I really don't care that my handlebar is scored, it's covered by tape anyway) and I start all over again. With a 3.99$ roll of tape I'm good for about a year.
