Lambert of England early 70's bike
Hi all!
So after procuring my '74 Aerospace Pro, I'm quite fond of these bikes! Though, I need some help with this one. In the pictures it shows it having bar end shifters, and I'm not sure this bike would have came with that option. Does anyone know for sure?
I'm sad it's not the gold-plated version but it's still pretty cool, and it looks to have the Death Fork! yay!
Thanks for the help!

I haven't seen a Lambert of that vintage with bar ends or with that style of cranks.

I'm not too sure of any of the components now that I really look at it. The ad does say "custom" so the owner could have changed a lot.
The cranks remind me of stronglight or TA style cranks.

It's an MKM Lambert. Lugged frame. It's before the Lamberts with fillet brazed construction took off. It's a cool bike. Sugino cranks. And I think they came equipped with barend shifters as stock.

I was just googling and it might of just been Ron Kitching at this point and time. The MKM teaming was later.

The price seems reasonable for a fairly nice vintage bike with some cool details history if it has no issues. Usually when I see these come up for sale they have silly high asking prices 2 or 3 times what there worth.

Los Alamos is where I found my Aerospace and I'm guessing a lot more people in this area have Lamberts/Viscounts because the biggest bike store in the town sold them in the 70's.
The bike has a cool history but the paint isn't that great and there are no decals from what I can see so I would like the price to be a little lower, and I would have to drive there so I have to account for that. I paid less for my great condition Aerospace with original receipt, registration and brochures.
But if all components are there I could try to find decals, a battle that would be though.

I wasn't able to secure this Lambert in question. The seller was unwilling to lower the price and meet up for me to look at it. If you are looking at a Lambert/Viscount and you have pictures of it, post them up and we can get a more accurate estimate of sorts. These bikes are fun but trying to restore them with original parts is not so fun. Good luck!
