Help someone wants to buy my bike and I don't know what I should ask for it
Someone has asked about buying my old Rixe mizza bike. I've had this for about 15 years and all I know is a German family bought it over to nz many years ago, is all in working order except the lock as the key was lost so had to cut it to move it again.

In the U.S. a bike like that may be worth $90-$100 if it were cleaned up. Don't know what the market is like in NZ. Maybe ask them to make you an offer?

id give you up to $100 for it as its the style my wife likes. if it was cleaned up - rust taken care of, paint touched up and given a nice detail shine etc it might go up to 200 - but realize I am in the SF bay area where bicycle prices are high and hipsters go for the retro casual look. no idea how the kiwi market is.
if I just had the bike out back and was not using it.. and someone said" Hey want to sell that bike?" id probably go: sure, $50.
