Nishiki Altron 7000 'components only'
Morning, fellas!
Several days ago I asked the community to appraise Nishiki Altron 7000 in pristine condition. https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...000-value.html
Unfortunately, during closer inspection I found that the frame of the bike had a crack along the headtube weld - unrepairable and fatally dangerous. Taking an advise from T-Mar, I talked to the seller asking if he wants to sell the bike 'components only'.
Please tell me if it's worth $150
Fork - Cro-Moly
Rear Derailleur - Suntour Sprint 9000
Front Derailleur, Brakes, Shifters, Crankset - Suntour Sprint
Hubs - First gen Dura-Ace
Wheels - Mavic G40
Freewheel - Regina Extra America
Seatpost - Sakae
Handlebar - Nitto
Stem - Nitto
Pedals - Suntour Cyclone
Tires and tubes - NOT INCLUDED
Saddle - old school Giant, the Fizik saddle (pictured) not included.
Pictures attached included the one with the crack

I'm thinking about buying these components + something like that ( https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/bik/5627113967.html ) for around $100 - 120. In that case I would have a complete commuter with good components for around $250.

Still learning
I don't consider a Suntour Sprint group a huge step up from the likely Suntour Vx/Dia Compe components on the Fuji, except that it can operate indexed, so the big gain is a better wheelset. But in the shift from 27 to 700c, will the Sprint brakes work? The other parts swap are a push.
However for $150, I can buy a brand new wheelset from Velomine.
