Great looking Trek 1200, wont be able to look at it until Tuesday though, anyone got any info on it. Would it be worth 250 bucks?

I can't give you the year but I can recommend that you go to the Vintage Trek website and see if it shows up in any of the early 90s catalogs.
As for value, I just posted on the Trek 1200 thread (below this one) that I thought that bike was worth $200 to $225. So at $250, this one is not out of line, especially because it looks really clean and ready to ride.

This is either an '88 (1050 components 6sp) or an '89 (1050 components but 7sp). If you like the way Aluminum rides, if it fits you, and has the 7sp group, I'd say yes.

I'm pretty sure I own that bike and also pretty sure it's a 1991. I paid 150 for mine but it was converted to a single speed. But it did come with fenders and SPD pedals.

Its aluminum. Market value discussed in prior thread. The steel Treks (this one is not steel) are really hot in the market right now. Nothing wrong with aluminum, but everyone wants steel. I am pretty fond of steel myself, the keeper fleet is 100% lugged steel, and the latest addition (last week) is one more lugged steel bike. I have had a couple of aluminum Treks, they have moved on to others to make room for the steel keepers.
