1986 Bianchi Codes on bottom**********?

1986 Bianchi Codes on bottom**********?
Need help! Trying to sell a 1986 Bianchi Vittoria. There are some digits on the bottom side of the crank. M . 6 and 4 3 0 7 Can anyone tell me what these mean? I'm trying to figure out the size of the frame (where to measure to give accurate spec's).
I know it columbus tubing. How would I know if the parts are Campagnolo Avanti or any other? I have zero paper work on this bike as it was given to me by my Dad
, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello welcome to the forums. youshould check 'sticky' on apprasails. can you post a few pics? condition is everything. and location two.
as for you '86 Vittoria, it is (like most all steel Bianchis) measured from the center of the bottom bracket, where the cranks bolt to the frame, to the top of the seatlug. it should be something like 49,51,53,55,57,59,61. going by the '86 Bianchi catalog it should have a full Campagnolo Victory group, Avanti was not around in the '80s. is your bike Celeste or yellow?
while a Columbus frame is a good thing sometimes the "custom" Bianchi frames like Formula One do not fair as well. Vittoria while great components are not hugely popular with alot of people. plus not having index or aero brake cables is a detractor.
OH that codes, they should have something to do with the manufacturing date but I have no idea how to decode it.
