Puch.... Austro Dimler!!!!Value??
hi, i recently aquired a Puch Austro Dimler bike, and was wondering if there is any value in it, All gears and brakes are working great, and all that is needed are 2 tyres,
the wording and stickers are in fantastic condition for its age..
any help would be appreciated,,cheers,,

It's a lower model Mixte bike from maybe the early 80's
Things going for it is it's a Mixte, which had quite a resurgence in popularity in the last few years, plus the tubing is decent enough, being a manganese alloy steel and not just High tensile carbon steel and it looks like it's all original and mostly well preserved.
With a full service (re-grease/lubricate everything and replace bearings as needed., full clean up, new tires, tubes, cables and brake pads (expendables), you could be looking at value of at least 200 - 250 bucks in the hottest markets. but you have to consider the cost of getting it road-ready as I mentioned, so profit might be cut down by at least 100 bucks....

Nice head lugs on this one, but at some point most of these were being made in Japan.
This bike seems to have very nice/durable paint, so added value there.
