$300? The hubs and lugs are nice but 300 for an unknown frame with Gipiemme dropouts and Campagnolo 980 gears?

+1 to BG - it's a mystery frame, looks very unremarkable, with an undesirable parts group. I can't see breaking 200...and that's a stretch. Honestly - if this were at a flea market for $50, I might pass.

I hoped somebody has any idea of the maker.
Probably european brand, France or Belgium.
The "BCM" on the frame is probably from "Bocama" lugs - France

And...glad to hear others not "feeling" this bike...it just did not feel like 300...I would probably grab it at 50-100...but not much more than that...

Agreed. 300.00 is a bit lofty. So if you could get it for that price range, what would be the asking price after refurb?

Thanks guys, I will pass it. I thought it is something special, maybe italian.
Anyway the bike is in Europe, in the city my mother-in-law lives. The asking price is around 100 $.
I bought last year some good bikes around Cleveland. A Franklin for 50$, a Bianchi Axis for 40$, 2 or 3 Nashbar for 40$ and a bunch of Raleighs for 25...40$.
I will keep my eyes open this year too.
Thank you for your help,
Marius

Actually I was serious. I have seen you guys pan much nice bikes.
Yeah the Texaco sticker is different. But the Campy 980 changer is like the Cimarron of the line up it gets the job done but isn't very fancy. It was a step below Victory and Triomphe and a lot of guys here turn their noses up at those.
Remember this beauty? The Cadillac Cimarron
At $100 in your neighborhood that would be a good deal but trying to ship it back from Europe really makes no sense.

To this gearhead, the Cimarron is a descriptive explanation.

Thanks for the heads-up, juvela. Lamb's tail is flopping like mad, but to no avail. I haven't a clue.
