Marina Road Bike, possibly '70s
We can't find much information about this bike online. Any clues as to what it might be worth, what year its from, or anything about its history?
We are contacting the seller to get more clues about its condition -- she says it's good to go after someone checks it out.
The seller is asking $110 (not including shipping, price negotiable.)

Constant tinkerer
Cosmetic condition might be ok but it's not in rideable shape. Tires are rotten, needs new cables/housing, and bearings overhauled.
IMO this is not a bike that's worth the cost of shipping unless it's free. $110 is too much. $110 + shipping is way too much. It's a low-end road bike, probably from around the time of the bike boom (early 1970s.)

A fun project bike. Are you 5' 6" or so? And mechanically inclined?
Cool Valentino derailleur, bottom of Campy's lineup.
Offer $50. All consumable parts must be replaced...

Alright, thanks for the replies. That's all valuable information. We originally thought it might be a good deal, but if what you all said is true it wouldn't be worth it.

One interesting thing is at some point the original Simplex RD was replaced with a Valentino making for likely the worst derailleur combo possible. A push rod Simplex prestige in front and valentino rear. As others have said it will need all new consumables and a overhaul, plus a lot of the pars may need to be changed upgraded to make it into a functional bike. On a project bike like this I would say $50 is about what the bike is worth.

incazzare.
It looks to me like that seatpost is canted back a little. It may be that it's above the minimum insertion point and has damaged the seat lug. Could be an issue.
I agree with the others on pricing. It is kind of a nice looking bike, but not at all worth shipping. If I saw it locally for less than $50 I might buy it to fix up and give to a friend or sell, but not for $110.

This looks like an early 1970s club racer. The point that worries me the most is that it has Presta valves and the pads do not appears to have been lowered in the caliper ears. So, are these 700C clincher replacement wheels, OEM tubulars or both? That's the question I'd want a definitive answer to, before I started negotiations.
