1950 Peugeot randonneur
I'm looking for a light tourer and came across what supposedly is a 1950 Peugeot randonneur of unmentioned model on eBay. The price looks very good for a bike of its age and condition, but I have no idea about the actual bike model; Does anyone here know if it's "worth" anything?

Value? Who knows, but it's a gorgeous bike, looks nearly all original. If I was in the market for another Peugeot randonneur, I'd pay an easy $300 for it.

I would say higher end late 50's model also based on the style of Nervex lugs which were used on nicer models from about 57-63. The price seems more than fair considering it appears to be basically original except for maybe the RD and freewheel I'm pretty sure it would have had a 4 speed setup rather than 5 originally.

That's a beautiful bike and worth more than the current bid of 131 euros for sure.

Agreed, the combination of chrome fork ends and down tube pump pegs doesn't appear to have been used prior to 1959. If those derailleurs are OEM, that would push it out to at least 1963. The only caveat I noticed is that it looks like someone has filed down the stem quill to fit the steerer tube. Regardless, I would be very tempted at that price.
