80's(?) FUJI Touring Series III appraisal

I originally rescued this bike from a relative who had it sitting in a dry basement. Bike was not subject to moisture as the basement is about ground level on 3 sides and he uses a woodstove in the winter. Anyhow, I intended to buy another smaller frame and use the parts since they seemed to be decent stuff in good shape. I was pointed to here and figured I'd see if it was worth more in one piece. To me it looks all original, even the tires. I realize the rubber may not be useful, but the tubes held air fine and the bike rides really well. IT is quite light. Anyhow, is this worth anything as a whole?

EDIT: Try these pictures for better detail than the ones I originally uploaded.

It's a nice bike, a true touring bike. In excellent ready to ride shape it could bring $300 or more, but this one is dirty, sitting in someone's basement forever, with old tires. It likely needs a complete overhaul to be useful (grease, cables, brake pads, tires, bar tape, etc.)

As-is I think you should still be able to get $150 for it.

It's also in a large size, so your pool of potential buyers is smaller. You want a person who is 6' 2" or taller, who is looking to restore a touring bike, or you put in the work. I agree with $300 if in fully refurbished condition, much less as it is now. The right buyer with the aptitude to restore might pay $150. A flipper might pay $100. PG

Just my size!

It is not easy to find touring bikes out there. They are few and far between. They usually go for $250+ when you do find them. Unless, of course, you stumble across a deal on one at a garage sale. Fujis, BTW, are pretty decent bikes. It definitely is of value.

I have been debating whether to strip it for parts or refurbish it and I am going to do the latter and refurbish it. I'm an auto mechanic by trade and remember these bikes when I was in my teens/early 20's and just love them. I'm going to hunt down a bike that is a proper size for me (I'm only 5'10"). I've been drooling over a few 80's Bianchi bikes on Kijiji and will just wait for that perfect retro bike to bring me back to my youth and also to get my butt back in shape.

Thanks guys, I appreciate any and all info for this now project bike.
