Frame identification

I bought this bike a couple of months ago but not sure what make it is. I think its mid nineties, it has a campagnolo 8 speed chorus groupset, the frame has campagnolo dropouts and the bottom bracket lug has Cinelli stamped on it.Thanks M.

Based on the very nice custume proffesional level paint likely factory paint with no markings. It looks a lot like a the few Titans which are top of the line Swis built frames, I have seen. Which where often sold as frame only and built up using nicer italian components.

Swiss would make sense as i got a bag of accessories with the bike that included a jersey with German sponsors on it so i guess the previous owner was German/Swiss but is the logo on the fork Titan?

The logo reminds me of the Ten Speed Drive (US importer) logo that they used on the brake bridge, but I can't find a good pic of one to compare.

EDIT: found a decal version pic, but still not a good one of the brake bridge pantograph.

Whatever it is, that's a sexy paint job. Love the color combo. Is the seat comfortable at that angle? Should be flat with respect to the ground. Seems like you'd be slipping forward and putting too much weight on your hands.

Not the Ten Speed Drive Imports trademark, but kind of close.

I was trying different angles for the seat to try get comfy as the frame is on my height limit and i cant lower the seat post any further, i have since changed the san marco rolls for a Fizik which has lowered the height giving a better seat angle and perfect riding position.

Bikes: No-name LH drive track. Also ride an Exxon Graftek, a Masi, a Trek R200 or a RR Boneshaker for fun!

Beautiful frame/paint job, not disputing the possible ID as a Titan, but I think it is earlier than 90's due to that Campy SR headset and crank - often the last components to be upgraded by people without ready access to the specialized tools needed.

From the little info I have on the Titans they were SL or SP tubed and famed for the paint, but many dated to the 80's.

The first thing i noticed when i bought it was the brake calipers look like an older model than the rest of the group and show signs of age unlike most of the other components that look like almost new and after some searching from the info i got the calipers are from 78-87 so i think your right saying its earlier than the 90's.The frame paintwork has a few wear marks and the chrome is showing some age but the previous owner obviously really cared for the bike as mostly it is in excellent condition but some of this probably is due to upgrades over the years.
