I sold this one last year for $370; it had a mix of Shimano 105 and 600 components and the hubs were Exage

That's an about $150 group on a bike, add the frame, wheels etc...

Sorry to bring up this thread but I wonder is there any way to ID what kind of tubing does my bike has? The bike has no decals beside it's brand name, just in case if you're going to ask.

My Squadra uses SL, but also SLX or TSX are a possibility

For the replica I think it is Aelle

I'm sure by now you've read lots of info on the web about how Concorde was a Dutch brand that painted Italian-made frames in Belgium and later in the US. After the mid80s, the paint jobs were generally a glossy pearl white base coat with primary colour accents, which was based on the PDM team livery.

I own a Concorde Americas (pic below, sorry for the mess), which I bought in 1990 at Cycle Bertrand in Hull Quebec (This is same store that either made their own classic frames back then or re-badged Marinoni's, but that's another story. There are also two Bertrand stores now within walking distance of each other, and they don't speak. But that's another other story...). Anyway, back then I was about 15 and looking for an Italian frame with Shimano 105 and what I think used to be called "triathlon geometry" (i.e. a steep rear triangle) which was perfect for my height (6"3'). I paid 1000$ for this bike instead of the 1500$ that a comparable Italian name bike was going for.

Mine is Tange 900 seamless double-butted steel (analogous to Columbus SL) and chrome fork, with a complete Shimano 105 group set, Japanese seat post + bars + quill stem and Araya rims. Probably around 20 lbs and rides like an absolute dream. I couldn't imagine selling it.

From 87-91ish, when I was tracking them, Concorde usually had models with 105, 600 and a lower-end Campy group, and tubesets of corresponding quality. I was aware that there were top-end models with top-end Campy that competed with Colnago and other Italian giants, but the shops in my area (Ottawa-Hull) didn't carry them. Mine is the only one I've seen that uses Tange rather than Columbus, which I'm sure gives a clue to who was making them at that point.

The one in your pic is the "high intermediate" road bike, probably from 87-88ish based on the looks of the 600 (pre Ultegra) and the exposed brake lines (which were gone by 89 or so). It actually looks very much like the earlier incarnation of the next model up one up from the one I bought. I remember quite well the b&w paintjob and 600 groupset... Also, I second that this would be either Columbus or possibly a higher grade Tange.

Anyway, enjoy!

I think that seeings how you are in the TO market that the true resale value would be far higher then $140. I live in London and that bike would easily go for $400-500CAN here.
