Somec Frame Worth

Hey, I was wondering how much a Somec road frame with Columbus SL tubing and a Nuovo Record headset would be worth. It's in good condition. Any idea what year it could be with this little information?

Here's the link..

Certainly worth more than the asking price.

I paid the seller the asking price, and paid Yellowjersey $15 to pack it so I could have it shipped to Nebraska on my FedEx account; it's currently sitting in Lenexa, KS for the weekend but the FedEx guy will be leaving it by my back door about 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon. The seller is a super nice person who knows his bikes. He has a Spanish-made Otero road frame and fork for sale as well for the same price that I was looking at before he posted up the Somec. I'm a bit surprised he didn't delete the link.

I really want a Somec with internal routing. They're really fun looking frames. I would not blink in dropping $150 bones on that frame.

Hey Skidoo-What are you going to do with this! curious because i just picked up one exactly like yours, down to the same lugs and cinelli bb. I'm thrown off by what the owner said-he told me it was from79', but it looked like it had all c rec on it originally. So I was wondering if you know the date, model or any other info about yours. Fantastic bike though and just a blast to ride.

every time this thread bubbles to the top it gets reported. Since it's not really a WIW thread any more, we hadn't moved it. But you can't argue with the fact that the OP should have been made in WIW. If anyone wants to start a new thread about Somec frames, or this one in particular back in the main C&V thread, that would be more appropriate.
