My Aunt is the original owner of this Schwinn Starlet that my Grandparents bought for her in 1954 or 1955. The grips have been replaced, the horn is not working, and the paint has some scrapes and scuffs. The tires are also original.
She is thinking of selling it and is looking for help finding its value. She is located just outside Chicago.

I've done some searching around the internet, and have not been able to come up with much. I did find where people were asking as little as $150, but no photos so I couldn't compare the condition. I also found one that sold on the online auction site for $600 in January, but it was a bit nicer and had the OG grips, the light on the fender, and the locking fork with key.

My Aunt said she would sell it to me for "whatever I thought was fair", and I want to make sure I give her fair market value. She thought she might sell it at a garage sale later this summer, but I would like to keep it in the family, and I think I can give her more than what she would get at a yard sale.
I know region can matter, she is just outside Chicago.

Can anyone help me out with the value?

There used to be a schwinn forum on the web/you could get more info. I haven't visited it in seems like ages. Yours looks to be in real nice shape. Cudo's for keeping it in the family. Give her a couple hundred/and compensate if you find otherwise.
