57 Schwinn Mark 2 Jaguar
So I found a old bike in a garage the other day and been searching online to see what it is worth as is and should I clean it up or anything to get more value out of it. I picked the bike up for $20. Can someone give me a value on what this is worth? It seems it is missing the rack from the front and the light. But not 100% on that. Thank you

As shown, I think you paid FMV. As restored, it depends on the quality of your work and we have no familiarity about that.

A fairly desirable bike in the world of Schwinn. Carefully clean off the crud and get eveything working. Fixed up, prbsbly a $250-400 bike. Nice snag!

Nice fairly sought after Schwinn cleaned up and rideable it should sell for $400 or so. The main things this one has is it is complete with rack and tank and has original paint. I wouldn't change much on it or mess with the paint just get it in riding condition and leave it in original survivor condition

This is a "heavy weight." Looks like someone was giving rides to another "heavy weight" on the rear rack. Don't know if that detracts from the value or if it adds "patina" value.
