1980 Nishiki International
Hello,
I purchased this bike at a yard sale a couple of years ago. It's too big for me, but I really fell in love with it, so I bought it anyway.
Now, after two years, I'm really realising that it is just too big for me to enjoy riding.
It's time to move it along.
Any thoughts as to it's value? I plan on posting it on CL. The bike is in very nice condition. It does have a few scuffs and scrapes here and there, but no rust. It measures 25" from the center of the crank, to the top of the seat tube.
Thanks for your help.

As you now know, the Nishiki International is a cut above your average UJB.
I expect it is a Tange CrMo frame with good quality wheels and good quality drivetrain (likely Suntour Cyclone at that point I would think). But the real value in these bikes is the ride: They have a good reputation for being really nice riding all-around road bikes.
I would estimate $250- $300 for one like yours - but to get that higher price, you may have to wait for that buyer who both (a) needs a good-sized frame, and (b) knows what it is.
PS- If you really love it and it took 2 years for you to realize it was too big for you - maybe it isn't.

Thanks for your help auchen, that gives me a place to start. I'll probably start a little lower to try and generate some interest.
As far as taking two years to decied to sell it, I think it was denial.
Thanks again.
