Talking Benotto Frame or Bike less wheels or Bike with wheels...

I picked up this nice old Benotto Model 1500 today and, as some of you might know, have little storage space, these days. With that in mind, the bicycle with wheels, or without wheels or frame/fork only, is up for grabs...

The bike measurements are: ST c-c 62cm; TT c-c 57cm

The wheels are special and not original to the Benotto. Campy Record hubs with Campy Skewers laced to Ambrosia rims with stainless steel spokes. Everything else is, pretty much, original as nearly as I can tell and the bicycle is in nice shape (hoods and tires need replacing, hoods for sure).

Frame/Fork/Head Set only...

Lightbulb

I will sell the wheels for $80.00 but shipping to the US is a killer. To the Chicago area, I am looking at $82.00 just for a wheel set. Don't know where to find a better shipping price in my area.

Some more pictures, taken outside...

Yes, noglider, the wheels are tubulars. I should have made that clear, but failed to do so. Funny thing is, the more I look this bike over, the more I think, just part it out, keep the Italian bottom bracket and wheel set, then let the frame go bare. Of course, that mentality lead to the rise of The Old Shed, which, now, is no more.

Looking for a Benotto frame set, but shipping to México would be exhorbitant. And, it's a tad too big.

Yes and other things, as well. It is a treat to get absolutely fresh stuff right from the garden, or bush or tree. Heck, one can easily get a stomach ache just walking up the cottage road, and gorging on the wild raspberries, or strawberries or blue berries that grow in abundance.

If you were closer, I would be truly tempted to grab that complete Benotto frame - without the wheels.

Here is mine - I think its a 1983 model - and my wife will not get on it, so I ride it all by myself.

A man needs a woman who will love him, a woman who will feed him and keep him healthy, and a woman who will be a companion and ride a bike with him.
On top of that, a man needs to make sure that these three women never meet.

A hansom prince was madly in love with a princess, who lived in a far away castle. One day, summoning his courage, he grasp a ring in his hand, mounted his trusty steed (a white Cinelli, in this instance) and, riding night and day, traveled to the fair lady's abode.

On bended knee, he presented he the ring. Looking into her eyes, he said "I am in love with you. Will you marry me?" To which she, looking back into his eyes, said, "No."

And he lived happily ever after!
