FS: '85 Merckx Professional frame and fork, 55CM
Sale pending
1985 55-cm square Merckx Professional, frame & fork only
$225 plus shipping, lower 48 only, PayPal F&F. A classic Columbus SL racing frame in need of some TLC. I just don’t have the time or inclination to proceed with this project. Frame is straight with no damage and rides great. Decals in great shape. Issues are rust and paint bubbles on the TT at the first cable guide, minor chip and rust near shifter boss (typical of brake adjuster strikes) and some rust on the lower head tube lip. Will send detail pics if desired.
Not interested in packing and shipping the whole bike, but I will consider selling the whole bike locally (within a two-hour drive of Columbia, SC) if anyone is interested. $500 for whole bike, all Campy (mostly Chorus, I think) except for butter-smooth Ultegra hubs. Cinelli bar and stem.
