Davidson Impulse 57cm Dura Ace

I'm finally selling my beautiful Davidson Impulse road bike after years of smooth, fun riding. Handmade by Bill Davidson in Seattle, 57cm c-c, all Dura Ace components, except the Ultegra 6700 front derailleur and the Campy headset, grey anodized Mavic Open Pro rims, 10 speed drive train, new cables and housing. See pics for paint scratches. Frame has no dents or dings. Return spring in right brake lever is not there, but the brake caliper's spring is strong enough so that it doesn't affect the function. I believe the frame is a 1989. Please let me know if you have any questions. $1000 plus $65 shipping west of rockies, $95 shipping east of rockies via BikeFlights.

Can we see more details of the frame details (seat cluster, head lugs, bottom bracket, fork crown) rather than focused on the components?

Don't mean to doubt the measurement, but it looks like a lot of head tube for a 57cm. Maybe a direct side shot would be helpful to see the geometry, too.

Do you know what tubing was used?

I'm not in the buying mode, but a 57cm Davidson would be tempting if I was.

It is most certainly a 57cm c-c frame. Maybe Bill wanted more head tube in that era, idk. Sorry for the crappy basement pics, but hopefully they tell you what you need to know. It's an Impulse!

As for tubing, I talked to Bill Davidson a few years ago and I think I remember him saying it was Ishiwata 019. Lightweight and buttery.
