Never heard of it, and the picture isn't helping create enough interest for me to google and wade through links talking about [presumably] a clothing chain that went south some time in the 90s.

Must be a touring frame, huh? Did the DT bosses/stops get removed? What's up with blue top of fork, replaced canti bosses there?

Hard telling in pic but seems like chainstays might be slightly squished.

I agree we could use more info, is this a down under brand?

Bianchigirll as it turns out yes . . . He was a NZ frame builder?! Up until you asked that I took that he was an english frame builder as he won a bronze in the 36 Berlin Olympics in the 4000m team pursuit. He them emigrated here, built frames and was part of my local touring association . So Thanks for that, I am now a bit more excited about pick up. Nice to learn something new.

Lesterofpuppets, I am hoping it is my size too, I will pull it down when I first get it, lube grease where needed, and recable if needed too.
It is said to be 3 x 7 Shimano, could have been converted as the cantis sort of look late 80's, although hubs look early to mid 90's.
I may email her for more info on the bike, she referred to it as her touring bike so it may have a bit of a story, I wonder if she had it made with Chas or bought it 2nd hand.
