Performance Competition Hubs
Does anyone know who produced these hubs for Performance bikes? They have "Performance Competition Sealed Bearing" printed on them.

I believe they were an Ofmega product. I've seen similar ones with CyclePro branding iir.
Much later SOVOS(?) variant of this hub was from Chi-wan.

Thank you for the quick response! What are your thoughts on the sovos hubs? I found a 650b wheel for a friends Motocomfort project, and it was laced to a Sovos.

The later stuff like Sovos should be built to high testing standards, so it's a sign of real effort when these newer parts have a svelte look without too much bulking up of the flanges.
Look for supplementary shielding out beyond the cartridge bearing seals.
The sophistication of any dust shields in creating a functional labyrinth is telling of the overall quality imo, but your personal riding conditions might weigh heavily on this emphasis.

I have a pair of Performance wheels purchased in about 1987-ish. The hub looks identical to the picture but has a different type of label. It is laced a MAVIC MA-2 rims using stainless steel spokes (I've forgotten the brand). I have never once had to re-true the spokes/rims.
Almost 30 years later, they run as freely and true as the day I bought them and still look good.
