IRO Hubs

It seems like there's re-branded formulas floating around all over the place, any one know the cheapest place to get a set? Sorry to threadcrap OP, but I suppose it relevant. Formulas are pretty proven for decent budget quality. We can't all be rocking dura-ace hubs.

if 40 dollars is too much to swing for a pair of hubs, you should probably take up a different hobby

fixed/fixed is like a cup that is filled with endless delicious delicious drank, 4locos to be exact. Thats why I ride on a fix/fix hub, so I can always drink 4locos while I ride.

Fixed/free is ********. Its like having two cups, one for coffee, and one for tea. YOU DONT NEED CUPS THAT CAN ONLY HOLD ONE TYPE OF LIQUID.

I have one with identical freewheel threads on both sides...it came with a 2004 Redline Monocog and is spaced for a 110 mm frame, though it could be spaced out to 120. There are tons of BMX flip flops that are free/free, but with one side having metric threads, allowing you to use 13-15T freewheels on one side and 16T and larger on the other side.
The one benefit of freewheel threads that I can think of, over running a fixed/fixed hub, is the greater amount of threading on the freewheel side allows you to safely add a farily thick spacer inboard to adjust your chainline. This only works with a freewheel of course.
