I always liked the idea of the white gruppo. Had thought it would look especially sharp on a black, white, gray or certain metallic frames. I also have been wistful that there seem to be so few of them. Have only heard good things about their performance.
I have had the fortune to have several Sante groups...this is the best looking one that I have had. All perform exceptionally...many people that have used this particular group state that it works as good as any Shimano ever made...I am not sure of that, but...always worked for me!

I think the bike looks great! My only reservation is the red bits. I would change them to white. But what do I know about aesthetics?

After getting Sante DT shifters, I thought of starting to collect the other bits but decided the shifters should be used by someone with a higher need.

Don't listen to Aaron. He's just heckling you. The bike looks fantastic and will look better with a healthy layer of road dust and spilled chain lube. No need to paint, either.

Maybe on a black bike?
Looks ace on a red/white or yellow/white Ironman Expert, circa 1988. Just does.
