I don't know. Hard to beat the giant suit. And This Must Be The Place is only the greatest song ever. But I have a penchant for silly little love songs.

It's a Hard Logic to Follow, unlike the sheer utter twaddle that the OP proposes.

Indeed. The amount of re-recording done for "SMS" kind of taints it for me as a "live" album. (I love the movie, though, and "TNOTBITH".)

That's my ring tone for my parents...that version. Native song is amazing.

Don't get me wrong here - Stop Making Sense is in my top 5 live albums ever, it's just that The Name of This Band is the Talking Heads is #1 .

I heard a very long, live version of "Take Me to the River" on Pandora, and was too lazy to walk over to the phone and see who they were jamming with. Sounded like about 20 people were involved, and also had a bit like a gospel medley during the instrumental.

I never really cared for that cover much actually. It's fine, but Tina just owns that song. Tina took that song like Aretha took Respect.

Listened to this one last night, along with Richard Lloyd's Alchemy.

Went a little nutso and also tossed on Feelies Crazy Rythms, then finished the stroll with Talking Heads 77.

Tonight?

Definitely a Wire, Magazine and Buzzcocks kind of night.

Maybe I'll start with 154 or Chairs Missing.

For live albums, it's hard to beat "Otis Redding live in Europe."
