I think we're going a bit too fast here for the man. I only PM'd awfulwaffle yesterday. Although his last recorded activity on BF was after the fact.

Seeing that I would have to bring the box of crap with me to work being the only method of being able to make the post office's hours of operation, I was trying to nudge him to see if I could get him to reply by before I leave for work in the morning.

The Crapmaster applauds your humanity, however please note that awfullwaffle slot was changed after not responding to the original PM for the original slot, so I gave him a second chance. Also, he hasn't posted since mid-May anywhere on the forum. No third chances in the BOC.

The Crapmaster has ruled, gotta keep matriculating the box downfield.

@awfullwaffle, no box for you!

Glad to see all is well, AW. Hope everything is going well. I ca bonly imagine what my wife would say after moving if a box of random bike parts showed up in our doorstep. Something like "Didn't you kid get rid of all this crap before we moved? Did you send it to yourself instead of throwing it out like I told you to do?!" (Voice steadily increasing in volume.)

@gugie looks like we have an issue. I just literally dropped off the BoC at the post office package chute with it headed to vixen.

No problem, we've had a rash of people falling off the C&V forum's face of the earth lately. I'll move your turn a few slots down.

Folks, if you're playing the game and something comes up in your life, let me know ASAP so we can make arrangements before it's your turn.

The Crapmaster

edit:
Note the new order: @Velocivixen (already on it's way) @romperrr @awfulwaffle

I have not decided what I will contribute to the BOC yet. Most of you know what type of bikes & stuff I have.....Does anyone want anything specific? Like maybe a Flick Stand? Tire wipers? Some higher end SunTour mountain derailleurs or 7 speed bar end shifters? What about 3-speed stuff....the real old stuff?

I just want what I contribute to be something someone would want.

I'd say bar-ends, but they would be long gone before the box gets back to me.

Dear Doctor,

I have read the rules and shall abide.
I have accumulated a lot of nice things that just don't fit my purposes. And hope to find something interesting as well.

As one who crashed, and then repaired a vintage Ron Cooper, you have done a great dead. Verily, your wish is granted, but please note that I am only a lowly Crapmaster, unable to travel in time and space instantaneously, except, perhaps, for a trip of a different nature back in my college days...

@Velocivixen: Just drop stuff in there that you don't need. Someone, somewhere, will claim it, not even realizing they were looking for it until they found it in the box staring up at them.

@Velocivixen Following up on what @J.Oxley wrote... It's supposed to be a surprise when someone opens the BOC. Besides, if Bob, somewhere down the list, piped up and responded, "Sure, I'd love me a Flickstand!", there's certainly no guarantee it would last until Bob received the box. Someone else, "not even realizing they were looking for it," would realize they really needed a Flickstand, and take it (rightfully so) before the box got to Bob.

IOW, I already have a Flickstand, so I'm good, but thanks for asking.

OK. I wasn't planning on parting with my beloved Flick Stand, but just used it as an example. I will go through my goodies and put some good "crap" in. I'm so excited...like waiting for Santa....oh wait....is this "Festivus for the rest of us"?

Hmm, I think I have at least 3 flick stands in the bin, but I'm pretty far down the queue right now.

since I'm after you a few things I could use: tire wipers, bar end sifters, and if you wanna get really specific: a suntour cyclone mkII front derailer or cork grips. No use for the really old stuff or 3 speed stuff, but perhaps someone down the line does.

Eagerly awaiting the package, and excited to send some stuff along as well. When I first started on BF I thought I'd never get to play this game. Weee!

Whatever you put in the box, make sure most of it is made out of aluminum. Very high strength to weight ratio.

No. Steel as much as possible, because we get the most for our flat-rate money. Add lead if you can, somehow.

It's Friday, July 22nd and I just mailed the BOC to @romperr. Make sure to use a lot of tape because the box is stuffed.

Enjoy.
