@Bikerider007, I'll start making up stories to go with the picture. Even if untrue, they'll be more entertaining.

22 year old Navy Ensign. I'm in the normal t-shirt. I've never had big enough pipes to go sleeveless. Bonus if anyone can tell me what model Fuji I'm on. My college roomie gave it to me and being new to the world of road riding, never paid much attention to the details of the bike.

Nice job matching the kit to the bike.

Looks brown in the photo so I guess this, S12-S. I assembled a few of these back in the day.

@sunvalleylaw - College Place - Walla Walla College. We we're riding south in the country. Wish I still had that bike! I bought it new in Frankfurt two years before and just rode the bearings off. Didn't know better that I could have repaired them and didn't know about maintenance either. At that point in my life, all I did was take things apart and put them back together. no appreciation for lubing!

I have a slide of the bike hanging in my dorm room and one in my room in Frankfurt. Haven't found them yet.

Considering how long I've been doing this it's sad that I have so few photos from back when. This one was hiding in a box, about 1981 with my Zeus Pro.

Very cool! Nowadays we take pics of every little thing with a smartphone. Not too far in the past we lived first, personal pics like these are special.

My daughter lives in Richland so I was in the area a couple weeks ago and took a few rides. Also made it over to Portland and dropped into Velocult based on Gugies advice. Really enjoy it up there.

I don't have any pictures of myself on a bike more than a decade old, but I do have this picture of my dad. It was shortly after WWII and he was competing in the Redmond Bicycle Derby race on a borrowed bike. He says he won that year.

My buddy Steve Duke on the right with his Paragon and me with my Raleigh International starting out our ride down the new Baja highway around 1974. We camped out every night, the 1,200 miles in 11 days.
