Schwinn Super Sport

I have a Super Sport which I bought new in the early 1980s and in excellent condition. The serial number under the hub is 1C00333. On the front nameplate, there is a number "0331". Can anyone tell if if these are valid numbers to look up more information on this bicycle?

From the headbadge numbers, looks like it was manufactured on February 2nd, 1981. Schwinn Serial Numbers and Date Codes

Right, but what about the serial number indicating the frame was stamped in March? Note that this was a double post, the topic is being discussed in more detail here: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...per-sport.html

I also have a Schwinn Super Sport which I bought new in 1984 and is in excellent condition also. The serial number is 1C00307 with 0671 on the front nameplate. I was surprised that it was a 1981 model because I recall that I purchased it as a past model (with a reduced price) at that time.
