Campagnolo Triomphe, 80's, mid 80s? I don't know where that falls in the ranks but I am fairly positive it is Triomphe. I know very little about DeRosa, but that may be a bike to pounce on quickly.

Chicago - 53cm Raleigh Record. Not sure of year. A little dirty here and there but looks to be in superb condition for a hundred.

Victory or Triomphe. I'm too lazy to look. You'd better move fast on that one. It's a great price, despite not having top-level components.

+1. Triomphe RD, FD, and shifters. The engraved-logo variant show lasted from 1984-86. Revisions in '87, while '88 got the silkscreened script logo in place of the engraved shield.

Never seen a De Rosa quite like that though. Even with that water bottle, I'm skeptical. Still a nice bike nevertheless.

Fair price I guess in your market - if it fits you.

Definitely too small. But hey, a good price for someone who(m?) it it might fit.

Not really looking to buy. Just taken aback on how pretty that RD is. I know more about old Japanese stuff, but now I should start looking at Campy. Aesthetically that gruppo is right in my taste. Its all just so darn pricey though.

Try Campagnolo Victory. Nearly identical to Triomphe, slightly nicer in appearance, and 10 times better for function.

As a plus, both Triomphe and Victory are inexpensive - if you see a derailer of either kind fetching north of $50 on eBay, some seller has found himself a pair of suckers.

Looks Triomphe-ish and unless thats a $400 frameset its a little high. When I buy a bike the first thing I do is ask myself how much I could get it I had to part it out becasue that tells me what it would cost to build.

Parted out you need to get close to $400 for the framset to break even.

That's actually a 'fake' De Rosa. Well, built by a different De Rosa than the one familiar to most. Note the bicycle wheel for an 'O' rather than the heart emblem.

I've been looking for one of these for a while, because it's built very close to where my mother was born, and I don't know many Italian framebuilders who work in Southern Italy.

That's quite close to my size, but it's far too expensive, especially given the component group.

Here's the 'other' De Rosa website:

Rough, with a real hodgepodge of components, but a nice older (flat fork crown) Merckx for $500 in Chicago. If you're just looking for a rider, this could be an inexpensive way to get into a Merckx.

i have for sale in alright condition a 57cm handmade in belgium with columbus sl tubing eddy merckx bike. All campy with ergo shifters except for shimano 105 dual pivot brakes, modolo stem, cinelli seat, mavic rims, and cristophe pedals. This has been my number one ride of choice forever, but i have to get rid of it now thanks to my economic distress. Pantographed forks, seat stays, and bottom bracket.

Yes. Took another look just now. That might not be a DeRosa. The lug work doesn't look like what I'm accustomed to seeing. I think you could get $150.00 for the bits on that, but it would entail some work and a bunch of hassle.

Two western flyers not cheap but in good condition from the 50's. $1000 for both. Could help if someone wants.

Also a stingray frame/fork/handlebar/fender combo, slick chic from early 70's looks very nice $20
