oxford coaster brake hub
Ok, so I realize that I may be the biggest db ever. So I ordered a new sturmey archer hub to replace an awesome oxford hub (I didn't realize how awesome it was until today. So the cluch drives a thing that is made of may little splines that fit into the hub body itself. When the sprocket is pedaled forward the clutch engages the knotches. When it is backed off the notches dis engage. I still haven't figured out how the breaking actually works, but this brake is definitely cool (the cog is also thread on, which is also cool). Anyways, if you've ever seen one or have a picture of one dis assembled let me know. Oh and modern Sturmey Archer 1spd coaster Hubs suck suck suck suck suck.
