here you are:

https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...+Seatpost.aspx

make sure your measurements are accurate, though. maybe refer to sheldon's seatpost sizing chart:

depends on what that meens ? Difficult as in it's stuck ? a shop has ways to free it. Difficult to obtain a replacement ? I don't think so.
Even if he has to order it, shouldn't take but 2-3 days. My data shows that your model bike requires a 26.6 or it might be a 26.8, could be yet another. These sizes are NOT interchangeable, they are available. The only sure way that the man can know the size is by measuring the tube or the post (if there's an old one) with a caliper.

Calipers can meas. within .1 milimeter, that's what one needs to know. Incriments of .02 MM. ranging from 25 to over 27 are out there.
It doesn't figure that he can't determine the size. I don't see a prioblem.

the seatpost now is slightly too small so it has some play side to side when pushed.

lbs told me i could put a small patch of soda can between them, but ...

soda can trick works in a pinch, but for the jenson price you can't really go wrong with a fresh one. there should be no play when it comes to the seatpost - it's bad for the binder bolt (not to mention the frame itself) and pretty dangerous business while riding. don't forget to grease up your new post!

best of luck.

A mechanic will have a caliper, he can meas. the tube. A shop should have a post that's close, maybe too big. Go inbetween it and yours and calc. from there. I figure it's a 26.8 more than 26.6.

This is a problem encountered by idividuals without a caliper to meas. or the resources to det. otherwise. He ought to be able to sort this out. The links that our fellow member listed are helpfull, they, as I did offer some direction, it's on the mechanic from here on in.

Your LBS is FOS...I needed a seat post for a Royale II. AE Bike has a large selection.

+1 pop can is not the way to go. My 85 club fuji takes an 26.8 post so chances are that yours is too.
