Anyone recognize the brand of this bike?
I recently bought an older used bicycle but haven't been able to figure out who it was made by. I don't know much about bikes so I thought maybe someone here would recognize it
From what I've read online, it seems to have decent components (listed below), but it doesn't seem to have any markings on the frame that would indicate a manufacturer. The components seem a little miss-matched to me so I was wondering if maybe it had been repaired using spare parts at some point?

Honeycomb dropouts! I've only seen those on Gitanes.
EDIT:
Yup, Huret dropouts. Has the frame been powdercoated? Could be a Gitane Interclub?

Yes, that looks like a 70's gitane with those distinctive rear dropouts.

Thanks for the feedback! I just spent a bunch of time looking though the old Gitane catalogs. The closet matches that I've seen are the 1973, 1974, and 1975 "Super Olympic"s, but it could be something else too.
I found a post here a few weeks back with a similar looking bike as well: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vintage/627033-what.html
Ablaut: I'm not sure if it's been powercoated or not, is there a good way to tell for sure?

Looks like some of the parts might have come off of a later model (~1977-78?) Gitane that was licensed for production in Japan: https://news.google.com/newspapers?ni...=3227,10181126

Oh I was just wondering whether it was the original paint sans decals or whether everything has been painted over. A Super Olympic could fit the bill, but
-what about the chrome?
-fork bend is different
-your dropout attachment is also different than this Super Olympic's:
I also haven't seen mid 70s Gitanes with a brazed chainstay cable stop, something to consider.

You definitely have a mid seventies Gitane, however; unless there is chrome plating under the paint on the stays and fork blade tips, then it is not a Super Olympic.
Here are a couple of pictures of a 1975 Gitane Super Olympic that I had for a short while. Never rode the bicycle since it was way to big for me but it certainly was a decent old bicycle.
