Handlebar padding system by Morgan Concepts
I still have on my 1981 Trek an unusual set of rubber-formed handlebar grips that cover the full length of the handlebars, providing very thick padding and an alternative to wearing gloves. It was made by Morgan Concepts and had an unusual name, which I can not remember. I'd like to find another pair of these handlebar pads on eBay but don't know what to search for. Does anyone remember the name of these full-length handlebar grips for dropdown bars by Morgan Concepts (which appears not to exist any more)?

Are you referring to Grab-On foam grips? Harris Cyclery has them new at https://sheldonbrown.com/harris/handlebars.html#tape

No. It's the molded, handlebar cover that includes padding that looks two or three inches thick in many places. It's an odd add-on but I've never needed to wear gloves because of it.

no clue, but avenir makes some barbed wire print rubber handlebar covers...I might buy some to do up the handlebars on my Trek so I havesomething tougher than corktape on it and unique.

These serve same purpose as the Morgan: Aztec Vibewrap available at www.deltacycle.com @ about $30.
